Late Wan...

Al-Fatihah...

Our beloved grandpa, which we called Wan, has passed away last Wednesday. It wasn't a sudden or unexpected event to happen as he was already been sick for quite some time. Apparently, he was diagnosed with a 4 cm brain tumour nearly a year ago. The doctors suspected that the tumour has been there along ago and continued to developed slowly as time pass by. He was also diagnosed with a prostate cancer, which is a typical type of cancer among men in Malaysia. Nevertheless, I personally feel that these were not the reason of his death. He was already in his 80s and it might be that his time has come. Wallahualam...

May late Wan be placed among the believers. Ameen.

Al-Fatihah...

Dear Miss SA...

I haven't blog for quite some time. I know I know. ;P

I had a chat with me bestie, Miss SA, yesterday. She felt down and somewhat lonely for what had happened. Well, it's all about this d*mn bloody st*p*d fella! Yes, I am mad with this guy! I met him once (or twice?) but what I can say about him is that he has got a look. Itu yang susah when it comes to good-looking guys nih. They think that they are handsome enough that all girls can easily be attracted to them? That when they have good looks, they can simply ditch girls just like that? Oh, tidak. Not all girls are like that. We are not blind and not THAT stupid to be fooled by your appearance. No offence to those good-looking guys with good-looking heart, but come on! Have some senses ok you people! (people = the good looking guys minus the good-looking heart)

Anyway, this fella simply disappeared just like that *snap* and could be found nowhere. And this friend of mine yang punyalah baik orangnye and treated him real well, jadi lost and terpinga-pinga on his disappearance. This was a story of 2 years ago and he was nowhere to be seen during this period. Invisible! Andddddd...a few weeks ago, he called! He reasoned out that he was mad with Miss SA after he found some random picture of her with another guy, hugging together. What the ...? Even the stupidest people could came up with that excuse hokey! Oh, LAME! It was some random picture, he didn't even investigate it real well, and the worst of all, he didn't even have the effort to clarify things out with her girlfriend (at that time). Oh sangatla childish and immature! Stupid! Sorry darling if you read this, but trust me - stop hoping for this I-dun-know-what-else-to-name-him guy cause he doesn't worth all your effort darl! Not worth it at all.

You are beautiful, girl! Your heart is real beautiful! And you tak jahat langsung k! Don't simply lose hope nor confidence on yourself just because of what you've experienced. I'm glad that you have moved on a bit but getting that previous call should not plant any more hope in you I pray.

I may not be the best person to advise you on this. I wasn't there for you when you need me (blame the distance! hehe..*kidding*), I may not be like any other best friend that you hoped for. Sorry for my weaknesses and sorry for my absence. But honestly, I care for you. I taknak you lose hope or digging your own grave for what I think is not worth it. Again, percayelah, he really is NOT worth it! Stop looking for the past and don't fret. Fretting about it doesn't going to help you, girl. Pray to Him a lot - He's the best listener and planner for the entire universe. Head up straight and be the cheerful, bubbly SA that I used to know. Sayang you SA!

Dira's baby...

Congratulations DIRA + husband on the birth of Nur Adriana Sofea!!! (Sorry Dira, mind the spelling...)

The cute teeny-weeny, little angel was born on the 17th October 2010 normally at 2309hrs.

Me and ms Anis went to visit her yesterday night at the hospital but sorry, no pictures. We were too shy to take the baby's picture because Dira's in-laws were there as well. So, a bit shy and segan. Hehe...

It was quite scary to hold the 23-hours-born baby but had the courage finally to hold her. Trust me, it was so serene to look at the baby! Well, which baby doesn't? They are just too pure, impeccable, authentic and squeakily-clean! Oh, how blissful!

I couldn't imagine how those ungrateful mothers, have the hearts to simply discard their own child! Have they not go through hardship of 40-weeks pregnancy? Have they not grow fond of the baby whilst they are in their womb? Have they not feel the heartbeats and cheekiness of the baby throughout his/her growth? Oh, how sad and pathetic these people could be! Afterall, have they lost their minds or what??? Sheeshhh...

For now, there isn't much news on abandoned babies. We'll see in the upcoming months of May or August later. Will the trend continue? We'll wait and see.

Al-fatihah...

News about Malaysia's cosmetic millionaire and the three other individuals who went missing, has been revealed.  It was tragic to know that they were all killed and burnt. How inhumane people can be when it comes to money. People can easily be blinded by the luxury that money can bring in this world. If the killers are Muslims, have they not thought about the "luxury rewards" in the hereafter world? MashaAllah. May Datuk Sosilawati, the bodyguard/driver, the banker and the lawyer rest in peace. Al-fatihah...

August updates (though it's Sept now =P..)

There's a lot of updates to share!!! =D

First and foremost, I am officially off the 'market' now - I am ENGAGED! Hehe. I really really wish to scribble over here how sudden things happened and how rushing the preparation was + the merisik part prior to the engagement day. I would try to post a story on it later inshaAllah (despite how late it is).

Just a teaser on the engagement day...*wink*

Secondly, Ramadhan is coming to an end. How sad it is that this 'super mega sale' month is leaving us soon. The heavens doors are all open for our prayers and repentance. MashaAllah. But the question is, have we grabbed this biggest chance of the year? There are still a few days of Ramadhan left. I would like to 'invite' you and myself: Let us all grab the barakah and specialty of Ramadhan while we still can. Let us find the Lailatul-Qadr together inshaAllah.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all...
SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI
Maaf Zahir Batin
Forgive me for all my wrongdoings to whom I have made mistakes with, be it consciously or unconsciously
Let's forgive and forget our mistakes to each other.  Have a safe journey balik kampung ya!

Next update: Mr fiancĂ© has now gone abroad to further his studies. Ouhhhh, that's sad. We're now back to our previous state - long distance relationship AGAIN! *sigh* But anyhow, I'm happy for him that he got the chance to further the studies. Not everybody is lucky enough to have the chance ait? You're so lucky dear! Wish you all the best over there k and we'll always pray for your success from here.

Till the next update. Salam.

Little brother...

Little brother is not so little anymore!

He's now in the university pursuing his studying. Ouhhh..takde dah geng i nak buli hari-hari..[Eh, it's the other way round. He bullies me a lot as compared to I bully him! Cet...]

Nowadays, our nights are becoming more sunyi than before. Especially at this time now - World Cup! He would be the only one who is willing to wake up in the wee hours of the night to watch the football. Sometimes, daddy would join and hardly the big brother would join ["Lebih baik aku tido daripada nak bangun tengah malam tengok bola", he would say. Haha. Btol jugak tu. =P ] But since little brother left last last Saturday, I haven't hear any "lalat or lebah" sound of the match in the middle of the night. [It's called the vuvuzela right? I just learnt that word. Hehe...] Maybe daddy's too tired to watch..or..maybe he don't have the companion..or..maybe it's not a match that's worth watching..or..yada yada..I don't know. Hehe.

The parents seem to look cool but I know deep down they miss their 'little' boy. Mummy always ask me and sister "Tak call adik ke?". Daddy also. Me and sis texted him quite frequently but now that he's having his orientation week, so it's quite hard to get to talk long with daddy and mummy. In fact, dah 2 hari kot diorang tak cakap dengan little brother. Baru 2 hari je! Haha...

Anyhow...he has to be independent sooner or later ait? And the time has come now. He has been staying with the parents for the past 18 years. Tak pernah duduk asrama pon. Unlike me which at the age of 16 was already in asrama hundreds miles away from the family. Jauh kan? Hehe. He has to learn how to manage things on his own, has to manage his time wisely, has to choose the right friends, has to adapt to the new environment, has to even basuh, lipat and iron baju sendiri! Haha. Good for him though. ;)

Gambar curi little brother masuk 'skolah'. Hehe...

Spring cleaning little brother's 'new' room...

Anyway, that story was last week's. Yesterday, we just sent him back to his univ. He was home the past weekend. Parents were so excited though baru seminggu tak jumpa. [Well, I got excited as well. Hihi...]. Weekend went normal for us, but a bit abnormal for me in a good way though. ;)

Today, his classes has started. So...

To dearest 'little' brother: I wish you the very best of luck in your studies. Make sure that you study well and achieve excellent results with REAL flying colours k! Love you...;)

A Pretty Occupied Week...

Last week was a pretty occupied week for me. Went for the CME, short for continuous medical education, session, hosted an occupational safety and health event, had a meeting and the "best" part of all - had to work on Saturday. Though it was tiring, but I really did enjoyed all the given tasks. =)

Let me just start off with the CME session which was something about biotechnology as a tool to control the transmission of diseases by mosquitoes. The speaker was from the States and his research team did researches and studies on how to prevent disease transmission by mosquitoes. The irony was that, in their country, there weren't any issues related to mosquitoes i.e. dengue, malaria etc. But despite this fact, they were the ones who've came up with scientific solutions on how to prevent such event. How irony! We in contrast, are the ones facing the real situation yet we ourselves haven't managed to come up with any effective solutions. Though we have those people coming to our housing/office areas doing the fogging part, I was told that this was not really an effective way of killing such parasite - most of them were already 'immune' to the 'smoke'. I'm not sure about the statistics of how many people have died due to dengue, malaria or any other mosquito-transferred diseases but I surely am aware that the numbers are quite worrying in Malaysia. I know we are wayyyy 10 years (or probably more?) behind those developed countries in terms of the R&D. But if we could somehow, come up with any ideas to solve such matter, we could be an excellent example to other countries facing the exact problem. There're too much debatable issues about the lagging of our research - I definitely am not going to blabber about it over here but yeah, I suppose this is a point where we can ponder upon right?

On another account, I was offered to be the Master of Ceremony or the emcee (MC) in a simpler word, in conjunction with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Week for the whole institute. To be honest, I've never been an emcee before for such a big event. It was an experience for me and to my surprise, I wasn't even shaking throughout the whole session, neither did I had that stage-freight (I thought I am?)! That's a wow and alhamdulillah things went well. Praise be upon Allah.

Anyhow, just an update about the last posts - as expected, no action has been taken by below mentioned parties so far. The last thing I did about this matter was to call them, lodge complaint and asked them to investigate further. It has been 2 weeks since then. I suppose I was too frustrated to follow-up on this matter hence I'll just leave it like that. If I continue digging out information, calling in here and there, at the end of the day, it would be me who'll be in despair.

I want to take this chance to wish all of you Eid'ul Adha. May all of us will always be under the blessing of Allah. Amin...

From Him we came,to Him we return..

Innalillahhiwainnalillahhirajiun...

Amie's mom yesterday has just passed away. I don't really know the cause of the late Amie's mom death, but all I know that she used to have to have heart problems. The very sad story reached to me at the very wee hours - 0310 hours. When I woke up at around 5 something am (or 0600 perhaps?), I imagined what would happen if Allah takes away my mom from me now. NOOOO!! Please not yet dear Lord! I am not ready yet.

To Amie, I know you're a strong girl and I know you'll remain strong in facing all the ups and downs of life. Stay strong and I'll always be by side if you need a shoulder to cry on. Let us just pray that your late mum will be placed among all the good people in the life hereafter InsyaAllah. Al-Fatihah.

"It is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decides upon an affair, He says to it, "Be, " "and it is.
